I didn't even think of! I had moved out most of the things out of the rooms, and they covered the rest. Osgood Painting provided contracting and exterior painting on my Victorian Antique home in Salem. Our house had a peeling problem.

His prep work prior to painting was exemplary. Their detail to repairing and replacing damaged clapboards was superior.

Our house had previously been painted, only to peel after 2 years!

His crew were polite and beyond neat and clean. The most important quality that has impressed me about Patrick Osgood is he is a man of his word!

I am writing this review over 2 years after our huge home was painted. His crew returned to repaint and repair a few areas that needed addressing.

Our association interviewed with several companies. We chose Osgood over lower bids from others because of his impeccable reputation on the high level of expertise the company has in restoring antique homes. We were not disappointed!

I had a voucher from Osgood to paint a small room (one coat), so I had them paint an upstairs bedroom in my condo. I knew I would need a second coat (the new color was lighter than the old one) and they gave me a very reasonable price on that. They were wonderful, quick, and professional -- it was a huge relief to get the work done so inexpensively and conscientiously.

I contracted with Patrick Osgood's Company to renovate my kitchen due to extensive water damage after last winter's weather. I have a 950 Sq. Ft. condo in an 1898 Federalist in the historic district and the job included kitchen and hall. The scope was huge as the water damage had settled in from March to October, due to insurance adjuster delays. I had to move out for 8 weeks. It went slower than I thought but as it turned out they needed to uncover the depth of the damage right down to the original exterior wood. It was more work than anticipated, yet they finished close to the original quote. Patrick spent extra time to insure that I had the granite I wanted for the counter. Ceiling, windows, cabinets, floors, walls, closets all required replacement or repair...anti-bacterial treatment, too. I am pleased with the outcome - just a few more details to finish. Patrick appears to have developed a responsive team of workers. His Spanish is excellent, his personality pleasant....a plus for a contractor, in my experience. I would recommend his company without reservation.

I contracted with Osgood to re-side about 1/3 of my historic home and paint it. The work scope was massive. I had windows that didn't have the correct flashing, some so rotted that they needed replacing. Doors with bad thresholds. My house was built in 1795, so it's old.

Osgood gave me the best price and I am very pleased with the outcome. By the time we got all the necessary permits, the summer had slipped away. Patrick started the project in early October. The goal was to "Button-up" the house by replacing the siding and repairing the windows. The weather was a bit of an problem. They managed to get the new clapboard up and primed before the really nasty weather set in.

This project took a little longer than we had expected, but considering it was started in late fall, it was done correctly (not painting in the cold). Patrick also installed spacers in the clapboard to prevent moisture from developing between the siding and the house. (Remember, this old house used horse hair for insulation and there was no tyvac at that time.)

The work was completed to our satisfaction and within budget. Osgood did a very professional job and I have received many complements about the finished product.

I would recommend Osgood to anyone that asked me about a good contractor.

We contracted Osgood to do an extensive number of exterior repairs and painting to our historic home. This included window sash, sill and trim repair and replacement, porch repair and replacement, deck repair and replacement, siding and shingle repair and replacement and gutter repair. They did a very high quality job in all aspects fully addressing the numerous and varied types of work needed. They also did an excellent job in working with our very tight in town location. They always left a neat work site every night over the several months they worked on it. All the workers were professional to deal with. We plan to use them in the future.

I had a groupon to have my driveway sealed. They were very polite and efficient. I also wanted an estimate to do my walkway. The did it and did not charge me saying my driveway was small. I am very pleased and will use them again.
